
Digital portfolio scan for financial sector clients
The general objective of the assignment is to support BIO’s financial sector clients in their digital journey by conducting an assessment of their financial institutions and providing an analysis for the most suitable candidates on the necessary support needed to move forward with their digitization process. Our analysis will be based on 2 components: 1) the use of an online survey tool for the data collection 2) a follow-up call from the consultants to help complete any missing information.
Context:

Objectives:
- PHB will analyze the digitalization degree, challenges and ambition of each financial institution using the results of the data collected through the survey and follow up calls.
- PHB will identify market potential and formulate recommendations, grouping institutions with similar journeys, ambitions and willingness to improve their digitalization degree and in need of external support to do so. We will also indicate the follow-up support needed for each of the groups, using the 6 DFS business models as defined in the toolkits created with MicroLead and The MasterCard Foundation to describe the business model that best fits each selected FI.
Deliverables:
- Reviewed the original questionnaire prepared by BIO
- Selected an online survey tool – Survey Hero
- Translated into French and Spanish and encoded
- Sent survey to 30 Institutions and performed follow up calls with most
- Data Analysis
- Workshop with BIO to review results and analyze findings
- Final report

Objective: Perform a market study about the needs of Senegalese migrants in Spain and suggest improvements for the Pamecas remittance products.
Deliverables: Market study identifying the characteristics of the Senegalese diaspora in Spain and their needs for financial services; Product development plan to improve the current products (features, pricing, operations, promotion, distribution); Financial/business model; Action plan for Implementation.
